Circuit Breaker Short-Circuit Duty Calculator

The calculation of short-circuit duty for medium- and high voltage circuit breakers is fairly a straightforward process if one is familiar with the applicable circuit breaker standards. However, manual calculations could be tedious and could take quite sometime. This simple calculator is designed in order to provide an estimation of a circuit breaker short-circuit duty.

Please take note that it should be the responsibility of the user to review the results of the calculations. Furthermore, this calculator is not intended to replace circuit breaker short-circuit duty simulations software and should be used with caution when applied to real projects.
